If you’re a customer of Aba Power (APLE) in Abia State, please note that from Tuesday, November 4, 2025, you can only purchase electricity units for meters beginning with 4625 through BuyPower (www.buypower.ng).

Here’s a quick walk-through of how to buy your prepaid meter units with BuyPower:

Visit www.buypower.ng or download the mobile app (for Android on the Google Playstore and for iOS on the Apple App store) and log in or create a free account.
Click on the “Electricity” option and select ABIA-ABA as your location and Aba Power Limited Electric (APLE) as your service provider or distribution company.
Enter your meter number, ensuring it starts with 4625.
Enter the amount you wish to purchase and click on "Review Order"
Then choose your preferred payment method (wallet or account transfer)
Review and complete the payment.
Your units and token will be generated instantly and sent to you.

Load the token into your meter and keep your receipt or screenshot for your records.
